Dr.MisterDoctorDoc

Someone asked a question in second period. They asked if you can suffocate your lungs from breathing in to much Helium. You 'can' die from to much Helium because, you are not getting enough Oxygen.
It doesn't always kill you. Sometimes you just pass out. That can also be very dangerous, because it can give you brain damage.
Another way it can kill you is breathing it from a pressurized tank. It makes your lungs fill up with air quickly. If your lungs fill up to quickly your lungs can explode.

Dr.Ray. Can Hamsters Swim?

Yes, a hamster can swim. They don't like to but they can.  They will get sick if they do.  So, just like cats they lick themselves clean.  If you think your hamster needs a bath, don't do it!  Just clean their cage and they will do the rest.

Can hamsters swim?

Hey it's Dr. Sharpie again! I wanted to answer a question that has been on my mind for quite  a while: Can Hamsters swim? I had this thought one day while our class was watching our hamster , Rhino, just sit in its rolling ball not doing anything. Then I looked at the sink and had this amazing idea.

So,after doing some research it turns out that hamsters can in fact swim, but it would be very vacuous of you to allow your pet hamster to swim. Allowing it to swim could result in Hypothermia and we all know what could happen if it gets Hypothermia... ( death).

In conclusion hamsters can swim but it is not the smartest idea to allow them to do so.

How chalk sticks together.

Dr.Fresh here and I'm going to tell you how chalk sticks together. For starters heres a fun fact about chalk.  Chalk was used to create the earliest cave drawings. Now that doesn't mean the stick chalk we have today, but something similar. Chalk can be made many different ways but how does it stick together?
I researched to find the answer and what i found was that chalk was first formed into sticks. The method was to grind natural chalk to a fine powder, then add water, clay as a binder. The resultant putty was then rolled into cylinders and dried. Now that was just one way I found and there are surely more ways out there. I just like this way the most.
Now you learned one way chalk sticks together. When we made chalk, remember how it didn't stick together, this is why. Now you've learned a little more. Thank you for your time.

"Gallium" By: Dr. Dinnerbone

Why Gallium melts in your hand.

Gallium is a element with the symbol Ga and atomic number 31. Gallium does not form in nature, but as the gallium compounds that are in amounts of zinc and in bauxite. Gallium is a soft metal, and gallium is a solid at low temperatures.

If it is held in the human hand long enough, gallium will melt, since it melts at the temperature of about 85.57 °F. The melting point of gallium is used as a temperature reference point. The alloy galinstan has the even lower melting point of −2 °F, well below the freezing point of water.

Beginning with its discovery in 1875 through the era of semiconductors, gallium was used as an agent to make alloys that melt at low temperatures. Then, gallium became useful in semiconductors.Today, nearly all gallium is used in electronics.
